Anupama Parameswaran
A young actress stepped into films back in 2015, playing Mary in a Malayalam movie called Premam - crafted by Alphonse Puthur, who both wrote and led it. Born in Irinjalakuda during 1996, she grew up as the child of E. Parameswaran and Sunita Parameswaran. Her early education unfolded at Don Bosco Central School, later moving to National Higher Secondary School in Iringalakuda. From there, paths shifted toward CMS College in Kottayam. That is where she explored studies in literature, communication, alongside journalism under a Bachelor of Arts program.
Starting with Premam, Anupama Parameswaran brought a quiet kind of magic to South Indian films. Curly hair, bright eyes - people noticed her right away. Though Malayalam cinema didn’t offer many roles after that hit, she kept moving. Instead of waiting, she stepped into other languages. Only a handful of her performances are in Malayalam now. Films in Malayalam? Anupama showed up there - Jomonte Suvisheshangal, then Maniyarayile Ashokan. Lately though, it’s her short one, Freedom @ Midnight, stirring talk across places.
