Nazriya Naseem acts in movies made in Malayalam and Tamil. She came into this world on December 20, 1994. Before films, her face showed up on TV screens quite often. Hosting duties? Yes, she ran the show at Asianet Star Singer Junior, a singing talent hunt for young ones. Acting began later, not right away - her first role landed in 2006 through ‘Palunk’. Mammootty opened that door. She appeared next in the Tamil movie Orunal Kanavu. The year 2010 brought roles in two Malayalam films: Pramani, along with Orunal Varum. By 2012, Mad Dad had her performance on screen. Neram featured her acting work in 2013. After that came appearances in Rajarani, then Salalah Mobiles, followed by Samsaram Arogyathinu Hanikaram, Om Shanti Oshana, Bangalore Days, and lastly Thirumanam Nikah. Her role in Om Shanti Oshana earned her the Kerala State Film Award for Best Actress in 2014.
Flying into Thiruvananthapuram from Dubai back in 2006, Nazriya walked through school halls at Christ Nagar Thiruvallam. Wedding bells rang on August 21st, 2014, when she tied the knot with Malayalam star Fahad Fazil. After stepping away from films post-marriage, screens may soon light up again - Koode, under Anjali Menon’s direction, marks her way back in 2018.
