Jai Bhim is inspired by the life of Justice Chandru, a former Madras High Court judge. In 1993, while a lawyer, Justice Chandru filed a case on behalf of a tribal woman. The story of the film is based on this case. According to the teaser, Lijomol will be seen in the role of this tribal woman in the film.
