Samantha to Chennai after completing the shooting of Shakunthalam
After shooting for Shakunthalam directed by Gunasekhar, Samantha returned to Chennai. Samantha is back in Chennai for the next phase of shooting for her new Tamil film. The film stars Vijay Sethupathi in the lead role and Nayanthara and Samantha in the lead roles. The film is directed by Vighnesh Sivan. The first phase of Kath Vakkula Rand Kathal was shot in Hyderabad earlier. The main parts of the film are going to be shot in Chennai now.
The film, which tells the love story of a triangle, is set to release this year or next. The film is being produced by Vignesh Sivan himself under the banner of Rowdy Pictures. Anirudh Ravichandran is the music director of the film. Sekhar Prasad is the cinematographer and Vijay Karthik Kannan is the cinematographer.
