Director Darwin Kuriakose said that he first chose Muthumani for the lead role after seeing her acting in the shadows. Director Darwin Kuriakose said that the film is scheduled to start shooting once the Kovid restrictions on a film shooting in Kerala are lifted. He added that if the restrictions were extended, the filming could be extended to other states.
